Melting Snowman Biscuits RecipeDifficulty: Easy
Prep: 30 minutes
Serves: Makes 6 Biscuits

Ingredients

  • 6 large cookies
  • 200g fondant icing sugar
  • Tube black writing icing
  • 6 white marshmallows
  • 6 pretzel sticks
  • 24 mini chocolate beans

Preparation Method

1) Add the icing sugar to a mixing bowl and use a teaspoon to add cold water, 1tsp at a time until the mixture becomes slightly runny, but thick enough to coat a spoon.

2) Using wetted scissors, cut the marshmellows in half (please ensure an Adult is there to assist).

3) Use a spoon to add a dollop of icing onto each cookie. Attach half a marshmellow to this. Next, add a little icing to stick the other half of the marshmellow on top, at a slight angle. To make the melting snow effect, drizzle some more icing over the cookie.

4) Decorating Time! Take the pretzel sticks and snap them in half. Place on the cookies to act as the snowmans’ arms. Use the chocolate orange beans and stick them on as noses. Use 3 chocolate beans per cookie to act as the snowmans’ buttons. Pipe small blobs of the black icing for the eyes and mouth and then leave them to set.
